Tam is a Gold Coast based photographer and videographer.
Before the transition into Motherhood she was a qualified school teacher and obtained a Diploma of Screen and Media which gave her the skills and confidence to start her videography business in 2015. She worked at Channel 7 Gold Coast News as a news editor and also went back to TAFE to tutor for the Screen and Media Course. These experiences have been invaluable and have given her skills beyond "just editing a video". She learnt how to work on various editing software, cut to strict deadlines, receive feedback and make changes as necessary, be involved in the process of pre-production, production and post-production, animation, colour grading and most importantly storytelling.
Having been a teacher of young children, she loves the chaos, fun, unpredictability that children bring to life and enjoys getting to know the little ones during sessions, and the challenge of capturing a cheeky smile!
The only "rules" she has during sessions is to have fun! She loves nothing more than families in their element, exploring, connecting and being their authentic selves.
She considers it an absolute honour to capture special moments, whether it be a family session or a special event.
Tam currently resides in Tallebugera, Gold Coast, Australia with her husband Chris, their son Xavier and daughter Florence.
